Hello! I hope I can get some help on this.

Background; no previous issues at all with any portion of Fridge or freezer. On Saturday last week, I came into a very wet kitchen, as the water line for the icemaker had been punctured (probably Mice). In repairing the line, I disconnected it from the fitting on the back of the unit. Waterflow through the tube up to the fitting is fine, no kinked line at all. However, I get no ice production at all. I hear the electronic buzz of the solinoid switch, but on "click" of a valve opening and no hissing sound of the water coming into the icemaker.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The first thing I would do is check the water feeding tube into the ice maker for frost. Possible the ice maker has to be removed to access this tube. For more accurate advise we need the complete model number of the refrigerator (from the name plate inside, not from a manuals).

Using copper tubing will keep the mice at bay. :D Kinda hard to chew through. :D

Hi Mark,

Thank you for the model number. Did you check the water feeding tube?

Gene.
