Here is the parts breakdown Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KSRA25CNWH00 Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.comRemove the rear cover and confirm that it is the compressor that is knocking. Check to be sure that it is not something simple like a bad compressor mount etc. If it is the compressor then it sounds like it is on it's last legs. Unless it is still under warranty, it is probably better to purchase a new fridge. The replacement of the compressor must be done by a pro and it will not be cheap. Perhaps you could use this one as a beer fridge they can last quite a while like this but cannot be trusted. So if you go away for a while and it craps out it could cost you several hundred dollars in food. |

Sorry but I cannot say as I am not there.
I would imagine if it was a bad mount or mounting bolt you would see it move a fair amount as it has to bang into something else. |

That is really bad news. I would probably get a new unit if it is out of warranty.
PS: I would not buy GE all you have to do is scan through this forum to see how many control board problems they have. |
