Touch your compressor to see if it's warm or if you hear a clikcing noise near the compressor. Nat

we unpluged it over nite now works,by doing that did we free up a relay or a error in a chip allowing it to work again. watching it closely see if happens again.

Remove the back panel in the freezer and check for ice there, if you have ice look for the defrost thermostat and test whith an ohm meter for continuity, if none the replace that part. Thaw completely with hair dryer which will get you by until you can get a partin and you will have to defrost it anyway. Nat

ok Nat, the refridgerator quit coolinga again this afternoon, opening the frezer door you can see the coils are frosted over,i removed 1 screw that cover the fan however i also removed 2 more that looks like plastic cover in back should pull off however it wont come off, im thinking the thermostat most likely would be there. now i havent give it the big pull trying not to break that cover. so still trying to get deeper into back of freezer Earl
