My electric Whirlpool dryer was not starting at all, so we ordered a thermal fuse (part # ap3132867) and installed it. The dryer now starts, but has no heat. What could it be, and what should we check next?

Part number: AP3132867
Now that it runs, but no heat youll need to get to the back of the machine, access the heater, thermal fuse and hi limit thermostat and check for closed circuits (thermostat and fuse) and 8 to 12 ohms resistance across the heater element connections. Good Luck, :) :) :)
