The weak link in these machines is the speed control board, but it is an expensive part so use this service manual to troubleshoot it before replacing that board.

This problem happened a year ago, the tech replaced the door lock. I picked 1 up, installed it last weekend & the problem went away. I opened up (unsnapped the old switch) & found the aux contacts got misaligned, thus causing a E47 Door Open code. A little glue can keep the contacts secure & prevent another costly service call. I also down loaded the service guide for $15.00, a must for servicing & troubleshooting.
Helps to be an HVAC tech, thanks for getting back to me, Don

Great, glad you were able find the problem. The door lock mechanism is the other weak point on these machines.

Thanks for the update, good luck with your washer going forward.
