Looking for reason food is freezing in the refrigerator compartment. On occasion the water to the dispenser also freezes and the filter is frozen solid. Some of searches indicate flapper or thermistor but I can't seem to locate as have no diagram to look at.

Your problem is a broken damper in the freshfood section. This should help you, behind item# 459 is your damper, item# 426

Sorry that link wont work. Go to www.geappliances.com, go to parts. Enter you model# and you will get an exploded view of your refer. Go to freshfood section, and there you will see where the damper is located.
