My dryer heats up when it's first started but when it stops for any reason or after certain time running it will stop heating. The igniter goes read hot and very bright but there is no gas ignition. I replace all of the sensors; temperature sensors and flame sensor and the problem still continues. I understand that it might be the coils on the gas valve. My question is how do I know that it is the coils and not the valve itself. I removed the gas valve and exited one of the coils and it works fine. The second coil it does not but if I switch the coils the one that did not work before works now and the one that did work befoer it does not in the new position. Is this an indication that the problem is the valve itself? I'm at a lost and ready to purchase a new valve (Part number 504091) but I wonder if the coils (Part number AP3094251) alone will do the job. Another question, if I purchase the valve Part number 504091, does it comes with the coils or I have to buy them separately? Please help. Thanks, Ed

Replace the coils and your problems will be over. What happens is theses puppys get hot and fail, given time to cool off they work once and then quit. The eventually cool down and work again once or twice and die again. replace these guys: SublimeMasterJW attached the following image(s):

What would be the next logical option. The glow plug still lights up bright and the flame ignites, but goes out almost instantly. With the old coils it would at least stay on for about 30 sec or so.
