There's water coming from under the outer tub. It's a slow leak that is making the entire bottom of the tub wet. I was told that it was possibly the tub seal. Am wondering how difficult and if I need special tools to repair this. I am also wondering if it is worth repairing this model or should I just plan to replace the washer. Advice and imput is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Donnie

I have the same problem. It seems like water is driping from around the 8" diameter Trany housing (Minor Leak) The bigger problem is water leaking between the 18" seam between the plastic outer tub and the steel bottom. Maytag model Number MAV6357AAW.
Is this the same seal that you replaced.
