I just had to replace a top burner plug in block and now, no matter where I set the temp., the burner is either all the way hot or off. Help!

Sounds like the burner control is shorted. Make sure you unplug it then take off the back control panel. Your part should be located in this link Control panel replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL RS675PXV0 | AppliancePartsPros.com
