Bake and Broil units do not work and heat up. Currently I know the following 1. AC power 120 volts on the DIC board is okay and other controls seem to be working. 2. Gas valve needs to be replaced; broil electrical pin outs show infinite on ohms meter instead of 216 ohms.. the bake side is okay. 3. The 8 - 18 VDC on the bake side is okay on the DIC board but the 8 - 18 VDC on the broil side reads 58 VDC.. that's not good!! Based on this information I know the gas valve needs to be replaced but the question is whether the 58 VDC being read from the DIC board is from a defective DIC board or the power supply board. Which board is controlling the 8 to 18 VDC? The power supply or the DIC board? Thanks
Bob

Hi Gene, The board I am referring to is the Digital Spark Ignitor Control (DSI).. Is this board regulating the 8 to 18 VDC? If it is then I'm will need to replace DSI board along with the valve.

Bob, These DC voltage readings can be affected by the faulty solenoids on the gas valve. I would replace the gas valve/regulator first and I believe it will solve the problem. - The gas valve/regulator Part number: AP3866825

Bob hey does it have an electric spark for bake and broil or an electric ignitor in the oven?

Gene, Thanks for the feedback. I did order the valve during this past weekend but was concerned that the increased voltage was being driven by the DSI board or maybe the power supply board.
Thanks
Bob
