Gene. Hi Gene, Thanks for the clarification. There is no voltage measured from these two wires. Actually here is the detailed sequence for my experiment, unplug the washer disconnect the plug with blue and red wires attach voltage meter to these two wires plugin the washer enter test mode display "Door locked" meter -> 120V after 1 click sound meter -> 0V after 1 click sound meter -> 120V after 1 click sound meter -> 0V after 1 click sound display t01About 2-3 seconds between each step. I then tried to go to t10, t11, t14, but it wont do the test (start button does not respond) and the meter stays at 0V reading. I did the moter resistance test. The ohm readings are about right. So far, does that sound like the control board problem to you? I haven't done the sensor resistance test yet as I don't know how to expose the control circuit board.

Gene. The difference is I disconnected the wire this time. If I reconnect the wire, I can perform these tests.

Hi Gene,
Any thoughts? I am also wondering if you have instructions on how to remove the control board cover. I removed all the screws but not sure how to pull it off.

Hi Gene, have a GE WHDVH626FWW with similar issues: won't spin. with rear panal off, start cycle, fills with water, tries to spin but stops and motor "moans", then pauses for 30 sec and tries to spin other direction. If I help it maually by moving the pulley when it 'moans' then it will spin (agitate) in both directions. eventually, cycle goes into pause mode. I get service error '48' and says it's the 'motor drive' in the service manual. I remove motor and test the wires in the different configs: 0 ohms. then went to front of machine to test inverter. can't get good connection on the board so i test via the plug-not sure if that is still accurate. testing the 3 wires, via the plug and using different configs, ohm meter jumps to 6 then steadily back to 1k or infinity. so not sure if it's the motor or inverter or what? thanks for your expertise Gene...sorry about the long post

You had to disconnect only one incoming plug from the inverter in order to measure the incoming voltage. Gene.

If you checked the motor windings according to the attached instructions and the readings were wrong, replace the motor. - The motor Part number: AP3872963

You had to disconnect only one incoming plug from the inverter in order to measure the incoming voltage.
Gene. I disconnect the plug with the blue and red wires inside the junction box described in your document. Is that not the one for the AC going to inverter?
