My washer is constantly getting off balance during the spin cycle. I think it might be the springs under the tub but I am not sure and I cannot find a diagram. Can you help?

Pull off front panel and check for white shavings under the tranny. If so, go to my snubber replacement article in the general talk section.

Are you talking about metal shavings? If so, there are not any under the washer.

Look for white plastic shavings. Set the washer to spin and open lid, push in the lid switch, and try to hold the basket. If easy to stop the basket from turning, you probably have a worn snubber ring.
