Dryer stays on at the 10 minute mark and just keeps running for hours. Doesn't get too hot as heat cycles on and off

Check out the moisture sensor (page 10), if the unit runs OK in timed dry.
Could be that it just needs cleaning, re: the unit thinks the clothes are wet even when they are dry and so does not advance the timer.

Thanks Denman. I am/was pretty sure the moisture senser is the problem but do not know how to check same. Unit is clean.
