have checked fuse in plug, still no interior light or noise from motor

Check the power at the receptacle with a meter |

socket ok, fuse checked also, so do you know what else it could be, thanks. david7

Did you check the power with a meter?
Totally dead is a power problem. Could be a wire has burned off or there is a bad connection where the line cord attaches to the unit's wiring. |
