push in start button-no response/fuse ok/circt brkr ok/light on in dryer....cord fine/not clogged w/lint - washer working fine... dryer worked yest for 40 mins... went to use last nite-wouldnt start

double checked Model # of Dryer Whirlpool W E D 5521 S Q 0(zero) Machine is 3 yrs old.. from 2006

Merlin, The first thing I would do is check for continuity the thermal fuse (#7 on the diagram). If it's open, replace it together with the cycling thermostat (#8). You also may want to clean the vent line all the way through the outlet. - The thermal fuse Part number: AP3132867
