The burners still work, but the oven won't light. I thought it might be a bad igniter, but after taking it out and looking at it... it looks fine. Could it still be a bad igniter? How do I test it? It looks like it's just a simple spark plug. Any help on trouble shooting sure would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Kirk

Thanks,
Kirk It could be the Oven Valve if the igniter is glowing. If the igniter is not glowing it is either the voltage going to it or it is the valve.

Thanks Jim, you're right, it was the valve. I've already replaced it and the oven is working and I'm my wife's hero! The ignitor is a sparker type, and it looked fine, so I continued searching and discovered the electrical resistance accross the safety valve was an open circuit instead of the 200 ohms it should have been. Long story short, The info I found on your site was instrumental in tracking down the problem, and I appreciate the help.
Thanks again,
Kirk
