Do the lights on the display dim when trying to get ice or water? If so, you need a new main control board.

The cover is held on by about 10 1/4 inch hex head screws. As far is I know there isn't a way to trouble shoot this board. It should only take about 15 minutes to change the board. I can now change a board in less then 10 minutes now, I have changed six boards so far; my neighbors and I moved in at the same time and the boards begin to fail about the same time. Make sure the plug is pulled and the only tool you need is a quarter inch nut driver and maybe a sharpie to mark the connections.
