Discovered the condenser fan motor not working 3days ago. Read the forum and checked the wires at the harness going to the motor and between red/white 13.5VDC and between red pink/white 13.5VDC. Ordered motor and installed new today and motor still not working. I read the forum again and see two answers from the pros for the same problem I have. One pro said that if you have 13.5VDC on red/white and red pink/ white that you received a defective motor and return that one for another new one. Another pro told another person that even though you have 13.5VDC at both points and you changed the motor and it's not working that it's the main control panel and to order one and replace it. I decided to go with the bad new motor out of the box and re-ordered another? Any advice while I'm waiting on the next motor?

I would replace the motherboard in the back AP4436216 The old board probably has a burnt resistor indicating a blown driver.

Are we talking about the motor in the freezer, or by the compressor. The compressor motor is a permanent magnet, dc motor, the evaporator motor is a 6 pole induction motor, 13 vdc to both sets of wires to this indicate lack of a square wave. Induction motors will not run on dc must have ac, or a square wave.
