Our refrigerator just started showing a high temperature (58-60*). Need help diagnosing. Air is coming out of dampener. The compressor is not running.

Jesus freak, the compressor would need to be checked for voltage. If there is 120VAC reaching the start relay on the compressor, it is very likely that the start device 216954210 has failed.

120VAC is reaching the compressor. The start relay reads 5.4 ohms.
The capacitor checks out at 14.7 mf. The compressor shows no resistance to ground.

If the compressor is running and there is not a frost pattern or a partial frost pattern on the evaporator, there would certainly be a sealed system issue that would require an EPA certified technician to repair it.
