GE Profile Artcica top freezer, 7-8 yrs old. The freezer isn't holding temp for the last several days. It's been up over 30 deg, then down to 9 this morning, now back up over 30 again. The refrigerator section isn't fluctuating as much, but is still rising over the set temperature. Everything in the back looks normal, and I found no ice/frost on the inside walls. I don't have a clue where to start.

Remove the cover from the motherboard in back, remove the motherboard and check the bottom for bad solder joints If ok, remove the three pin power connector and insert into the plug a wire jumper between the mating pins as labeled on the motherboard line and comp. Plug fridg in, if temperatures get down to "normal", you have a bad motherboard, AP4436216
