Brand: GE Model Number: CYE22TSHHSS Main Symptom: Fridge not cooling What happens & when: The freezer cools to 0 with no problems but the fridge is staying around 55 degrees and seems humid. I have unplugged it and left it off for days and cleaned out the coils in the back of it. When I leave it off water comes out from the bottom (This has also happened while it is running).
Here are the test and results I ran below. I wasn’t sure what all tests I needed to do. I just plugged it up when I did these so some of the thermistitor readings may be too high for that reason?

I also ran a test for error codes and this is what it showed:
Is there any ice buildup toward the back of the freezer or on the floor of the freezer? Also, have you noticed if the evaporator fan in the freezer is running, or do you hear it turn on at all?
The freezer fan is responsible for circulating cold air from the freezer into the refrigerator, so if it isn’t running, that could explain the cooling issue.
I’d start by checking those items, and also refer to the tech sheet to identify the error codes you’re seeing. The codes can help narrow down the cause of the problem and point us in the right direction.
No I have not noticed any ice on the back of the freezer or on the floor inside the freezer. Yes it seems like i can hear a fan in the freezer running when I close the door.
In the picture i sent, you’ll need to access the evaporator compartment and inspect a few components. Check for any ice buildup around the evaporator fan, as excessive frost can prevent the fan from operating properly.
While you’re in there, inspect the defrost sensor and thermistor, and check the drain for any debris or clogs that could prevent water from draining during the defrost cycle.
Yes, that’s definitely a major contributing factor and could very well be the cause of your problem. That component looks burnt, and the thermistor also appears to be in poor condition.
I would definitely start by replacing and testing those parts. Also, inspect the wiring and surrounding components to determine why they burned in the first place, as there may be an underlying issue—such as a short, loose connection, or another failing component—that caused the damage.
