Please help. my dryer will run but not giving me any heat. Don't know much about dryer repair but was hoping to not have a service call. Please help and thanks in advance. Justin:eek:

Hi Justin Ok, here's the best $20 you can spend if it allows you to not have a service call. Part number: AP3873780
You will need an electric test meter to diagnose your problems, but in most cases the fix is pretty easy and inexpensive. 1. check to see that 120v is coming to each side of the connection block. 2. Test continuity on the thermostat, high limit and thermal cutoffs. If one is bad, replace all three and be sure and clean out the internal and external venting. 3. Test the heating element, should have between 8 and 12 ohms. That should do it.
