My Ice Maker has stopped working. When I pull the cover off the back, I saw that the line to the inlet valve had broken and come loose. I reconnected and tried to jump start it still no water is coming out. I pull the line out and was able to draw water up through the hose by sucking. I reattached and still not ice. Open for suggestions.

Swap the wires between the ice maker and the dispenser coils on the water inlet valve. Push the water dispenser lever for a few seconds and check if there is water in the ice maker. If there is no water, then the water inlet valve has to be replaced. If there is water, replace the ice maker. - The water inlet valve Part number: AP3672839

Thanks Gene Quick question, I do beleive the water inlet valve needs to be replaced, I found one at a local Sears Parts store. Did not buy it yet, because I was not sure how difficult they are to replace, there is an older part currently on the unit. Are there any instruction anywhere on how to pull the old unit out and put the new one in. Thanks for all of your help anyhow. Dimitri,
It's pretty simple - just click on the picture in the previous reply and you'll see the instructions.
Gene.
