I'm not as familiar with this model where everything was accessible from the back. it looks to me like the fron comes off i just want to be sure before i embarass with my neighbor. thank you herman

this model for heater +thermostat is accessable from back ,if this is an older model over 10 years ,you would have to lift top to remove heater assembly to remove heater if it is the problem
