My whirlpool dryer won't start. There is power, but when I push the start button, nothing happens. Any ideas ?

First use a meter to see that you are getting 120v to each side of the connection block.
Then take off the back and check the thermal fuse for continuity.
If that is ok, check the door switch.
If all of those check out, the problem may be in the push to start switch or the timer, but one of the above should be the problem.
