Did diagnostics: all lights lit, 88 in window. Opened door: got 6E code. Suspecting belt switch, thermal fuse, or possibly door switch. We've dismantled dryer, cleaned ducts, cleaned dust/lint from interior of dryer. Now we're a little unsure about moving forward with a DIY repair. Should this now be a straightforward repair or should a repairman be considered? Any advice/suggestions welcomed!

Continuity testing revealed the thermal fuse was not working. Replaced it. Put everything back together. Dryer is working! Thanks!
