I have a MAYTAG RANGE model MER5730AAw glasstop. The right rear element went out, so I replaced it. The new element stayed on high no matter where I set the switch. So I replaced the switch with a new one. Same result, It stays on high no matter where I set the switch. Also the
"Hot Surface Lite" goes off when I turn the switch off instead of staying on untill the surface cools. Any help with this one?
