Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/27/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		The water pan will fill, but no water is circulated over the freezing plate and no ice is made. I replaced the circulation pump in June 2008. Since replacement the Ice Maker has made a loud sucking sound. I have cleaned the system twice with NU-CALGON.

I disaasembled and cleaned and problem went away without understanding why. This time it does repair it. The noise is caused by not enough water in the water bin. If you turn off the unit and then turned it back on the bin fills and it works fine for a while.
