We recently moved to a new home and when we connected the ice maker it will produce water but no ice. The water even traveled to the ice machine and the ice froze in the ice maker but will not move it to the ice storage bin.

When I open the door and check the lights for the optic issues. The light is two steady red flashing lights and then when I push the flapper in the light goes solid.

Any ideas how I can get the frozen ice to travel from the ice tray to the ice storage bin?

I tried to un plug for about 20 minutes and plug it back in. This morning after doing that is did dispense about 4 pieces of ice and new water was added to the ice maker. The new water is now frozen but not producing new ice cubes.

IF YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE bi-metel (thmorsat), THEN BUY A NEW ICE MAKER.
