Traced no heat to faulty igniter. Replaced igniter. Test cycle, igniter glowed bright red to yellow, gas ignited. 2nd test same. 3rd cylce igniter broke apart. Igniter was new from Appliance Pros. Sensor on heat tube tests fine for continuity, would you recommend replacing sensor? Possible igniter was faulty?

installed new igniter using gloves to avoid getting skin oil on coil. All fixed. Side note; when removing igniter not necessary to remove screw, just loosen and slide igniter forward.
