Hello,
I have a Whirlpool Accubake Oven, Model # WGP_4800 (I cannot read the middle digit) and it keeps beeping randomly and displaying F2 on the screen. I was told that F2 meant a faulty heat sensor, so I purchased a new one and installed it. The oven now heats up to temperature, but then shuts off and still displays F2. It also beeps each time the door is opened and each time an element gets turned on. Any ideas??
Thanks, Jenna

Jenna,
Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance at the control board plug. It suppose to be about 1100 Ohms at the room temperature.
If the reading is good, the control board has to be replaced. Without the complete model number it's very hard to find the correct part number.
If the reading is wrong, proceed to the sensor plug on the back of the range and measure the resistance at that plug.
If the reading is still wrong, the sensor is bad.
If the reading is correct, eliminate the sensor plug and reconnect the sensor wires, using a high temperature porcelain wire nuts.
Gene.
