my oven started with codes of f7 i could shut off the power and the oven would work properly for about a hour and then code again. it now will not code f7 but will work properly at the temp. of 290 degrees or below. if you enter a temp above 290 degrees i will get only err no codes. i was told by a repair man that i had a sticking key pad that was causing the issue. what i do not remember is what part he said i needed to fix the problem and they has since gone out of business. could you please advise me in what part i would need to order to fix my issues. thanks dan

In order to fix the temperature problem you have to change the temperature selections from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Press and hold the Bake and Broil pads on the upper oven control at the same time for 3 seconds or until the display shows "SF". Press the Broil pad. The display will show "C". Press the Broil pad again. The display will show "F". Press the Start pad. In order to fix the "F7" error code, the control panel has to be replaced. - The part number for the control panel is AP2029597 Here are the break down diagrams for the GE oven Model JKP56AA1AAGene.
