Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/4/2010(UTC) Posts: 7		I have a PSC23NSTDSS serial # RL449436. It's only 3 years old and my wife noticed that the refrigerator side wasn't cooling properly. It is set at 35, but the digital reading says its 49. The freezer is set at 0, but it says its 2. The ice is melting in the ice maker. Please help! Thanks, Chris

Yes, you do have to remove the brackets and the rear panel in the freezer to inspect the evaporator coils. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver and a 1/4" nut driver. Also, remove the rear cover from the refrigerator and make sure the condenser is clean and the fan next to the compressor works properly. There is main control board on the back of the refrigerator, which controls all functions. I just ordered the thermostat def (WR50X10069) and the sensor temp ff (WR55X10025), however it did not come with any instructions. How difficult is it to replace these two parts? Does the freezer have to be totally defrosted?
