I inherited a Maytag gas range. Three of the four burners work fine. However, when I turn on right rear burner, right front ignitor sparks instead of rear and no gas is released to either front or rear burner.

All four burner igniters are on the same circuit and should spark wherever burner is turned "on".
Did you hear the whistling sound when the right rear burner was turned "on"?
Check the right rear burner igniter for cracked and/or broken ceramic insulation.
Remove the burner (turn it CCW) and check for broken and/or loose wires.
Post your findings.
