Often a scraping noise is something caught between the drum and the frame. Run your fingers around the back and front of the drum seals to see if something is caught in between (under-wire bra wires are famous for this) Be careful in case it is sharp. Thumping is often the rear support rollers. Could also be the front supports, the motor bearings, the idler wheel, something in the blower, a loose blower etc. |
