Hello and thank you in advance for any help
I have a Whirlpool Duet Steam Electric Dryer Model #WED9750WR0 that is making a grinding sound and has a burning smell. Will the Dryer Repair Kit solve this problem? (27 Inch Wide Dryers, Thin Twins) Part Number: AP3109602

Thank you!

It could be a support roller, idler pulley, or maybe something stuck in the rear seal making the noise. Not sure what the burning smell could be. You'll just have look around once you get it open.

Watch the video on the kit. One thing I will add is I always clean the support roller shafts with a paper towel with a couple of drops of oil on it. Then I wipe them with a dry one and put the new roller on. Oil will attract dust so don't leave any on the shafts.
