I have whirl pool duet WED9400SW0. The dryer looks normal with all lights, settings, etc. but the start button and the control lock/unlock will not go, just get three beeps. No error codes. The drum light works with the button but not when i open and close the door. Per the manual, it seems like it is supposed to.
thermal fuse = ohm reacts with readings fluctuating from 4 -11
thermistor = ohm set to 20k and get 16 and change (read you should have 10 at room temperature but it is 60 degrees in basement)
I was thinking the door switch and ordered the part. Anyone have other ideas?

That sounds probable as the triple beep is the sound it'll make if you push start with the door open. Often you can feel bad door switches when you push them, they'll feel crunchy. Or have no discernible click when the switch closes. Try to push it manually while you press start. I think it opens one contact and closes another so wiring around it is difficult.
