There are a few things you may want to do. 1. Make sure the side arm is in On (down) position. 2. The freezer temperature should be above 3ºF. 3. Check the ice maker fill tube 4. Remove the ice maker head cover and using a voltmeter check for 120 VAC between the test points L and N. If the source voltage is not present, check all ice maker connections. 5. If the ice maker fails to initialize the harvest, a jumper wire (made from a short piece of good insulated 14 gauge electrical wire that has been stripped back 1/2 inch on both ends) can be used to start the cycle. Inserting the jumper between contacts T and H will simulate the closing of the thermostat and will energize the timer motor and the heater. Remove the jumper after 3 seconds. The ice maker should continue to run without the jumper in place. If the icemaker starts when the jumper is inserted, the thermostat is defective. If this the case, the whole ice maker would need to be replaced. The part number for the ice maker is Part number: AP6016628
You can order it from AppliancePartsPros.com for $68.03 P.S. It's always a good idea to replace the whole ice maker instead of repairing the old one. Much better rate of success and finally real saving of money.
