My dryer won't start when you push start it just beeps and I hear a popping noise where the old one blew (where the red and black wire plugs in at thought the control board was bad but when I replaced it does the same thing because I seen a burn Mark on the protection shield when I took the old one off. I bought a remanufactured part online could it be a bad part or something else?

It sounds like you may have bad wiring or connectors. The popping sound may be arcing across an opening in the wire / connector. Especially if you've seen burn marks on the protection shield. If this is the case I recommend replacing the wiring harness Whirlpool WP8576530 Harns-Wire - AppliancePartsPros.com Resist the temptation to repair the wiring, a bad patch job can possibly lead to a short circuit or worse a fire.
