My daughter has a GE Profile Washer, a few days ago when washing her machine began to bang loudly (unbalanced), she corrected the problem and completed the wash. Yesterday she used for the 1st time since the machine was unbalanced and the agitator is not working. Everything else is fine, fill, empty and spin. I did see where she may have to possible reset the agitator motor
1)unplug for 1 minute
2)open and close lid 6 times within 12 seconds

unfortunately the instructions were not very clear as to whether machine should be on or off at the time of reset, however after several attempts still not agitating. Any help you could provide would be appreciated
