Our washer stopped spinning. Started smelling a burning rubber smell. Opened the front plate, the clutch is spinning but the belt is not. The belt feels like it has tension on it. Can't find any info on such a situation. Thanks for the help.

Took a closer look, it seems like there is a lot of resistance from the tub.

fixed. sprayed some wd40 on the pulley. no resistance now. :)
