Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/17/2015(UTC) Posts: 3		I have performed continuity tests on 5 parts and ALL passed. I removed them first to do the tests. High Limit Thermostat Cycling Thermostat 2 Thermal Fuses Heating Assembly. The timer does not work like it is supposed to. Sometimes it won't shut off. This is a perplexing issue. It requires multiple cycles to dry clothes yet it doesn't appear to heat up correctly. From what I have read online the timer usually doesn't cause heating issues. Any ideas? :confused:

The timer does control the heat circuit and the type of timer used on this model is a piece of junk and a very high failure item. Whirlpool W10185988 Timer - AppliancePartsPros.com Eric
