Thanks: 1 times
Our Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 Series washer does not advance to the rinse or the spin cycle. Model 110 91278100.

When I move the cycle knob manually to rinse the washer agitate but stops and end of rinse cycle. It does not drain or continue.
When the I move the cycle knob manually to spin not happens at all.

I should note that moving the knob to rinse or so in used to work occasionally.

I replaced the lid switch, motor coupler, and agitator dogs.

What should I try next?

The timer?

Is there a way to test to see if the timer is ok?

Or is there something else I should be troubleshooting?

Thank you for any advice!

Sounds like a faulty timer. Timer can be returned if it does not fix the problem.
