In normal use, the Start button does not light up. In I use the Service Diagnostics Cycles Notes, the Start button does light up, but the Heated Dry button does not light up.
Do I need a new control panel or control board?

On these Whirlpool built models the main issue would be with the control panel (the keypad), The main PCB is usually fine and not at fault....

Sounds like the light was working but the button was dead....?????
