My sister tried to change the bottom coil without unplugging the oven and it sparked. The oven now has no power and no lights.

She tried to turn the kitchen circuit breakers on and off but nothing worked.

Someone said that it may be the thermal fuse. I know in most of these ovens they have 2 internal fuses so I wanted to know what experts thought. Thanks so much.

P.S. smh about my sister.

Unless you have some electrical experience, this may be difficult. The first thing is to 'UNPLUG' the unit and see if the "direct short" she caused may have burned the wire or wirwes at or around the main supply. In order to do this, you must pull the stove out, remove the main supply cover and visually check the connections. If they seem to be alright, remove the back cover panel and trace the supplies of both 120v to the control unit.
Please be careful. MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG YOUR STOVE BEFORE CHECKING ANY OF THIS. Hope this gets you started...GMBILL

I looked through them but cannot find a circuit breaker, thermal cut-off or a fuse perhaps you will have better luck.

FYI: It is not common for a stand alone range to have breakers etc.
Built in ovens have them as a fire protection.
