I need help. I have a 2 year old kenmore electric dryer model 110. It hums when I try to start it, if I hold the door button and spin the barrel myself it moves but doesn't work well. I troubleshot it and figured it to be the motor so I purchased a brand new one from kenmore. I have it all apart but cannot get the old motor out. It seems to require a special tool to insert into the plastic fan part in front of the motor. I cannot find this tool nor do I know anything to replace it with. My question is two fold. Is it the Motor and not something smaller and if it is the motor what can I use to get it out.
