Came home today and the "on indicator" light was lit on the range. No one had been home for hours so it wasn't in use and the burners/ovens weren't warm. I have checked all the dials, reset the fuse in the breaker box to see if resetting the range works and it is still lit. Any suggestions?

Here are your parts Parts for Maytag MER6755AAW Range - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet As you can see from the wiring diagram any of the infinite switches can control the on light, at least that is the most likely. Unplug the unit. Unplug the P wire at one of the switches. Measure from P on the switch to L1 on the switch. It should be infinite ohms. When you find the one that is 0 ohms replace that switch. |
