there is no power at all, I thought it might be an electrical problem, so plugged it elsewhere and still nothing?

A model number may help others help you.
By no power do you mean that everything is off, even the fridge lights? |

Need a model number? Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.comThe first place to start is to check for power in the unit using a meter. Check where the line cord attaches to the units wiring, could be just a bad line cord. If there is no power then check the line cord using ohms to see if it is bad. |
