Tilt the washer back and remove the belt. Check how freely the pump pulley is moving in both directions. Replace the pump if it does not do it. Check the belt. - The drain pump Part number: 35-6780

I tilted back the washer and did a check on the parts mentioned(pulley and belt).,both parts seemed to be in good order and intact. The pulley is moving freely in both direction and the belt is still attached and doesn't show any sign of tear..please help:confused:

Does the motor run?
Push down the agitator while the washer is on the wash cycle. Did you feel any oscillating?
Remove the agitator and check the splines inside the agitator and on the top of the transmission shaft. Make sure they are not stripped.
Gene.
