Hello--I have an 80 series HD Kenmore Dryer that has suddenly stopped working. The door light still comes on, but appears to have a 'short' in it, and this is all it will give. I've replaced the heating element and I believe we had the thermal fuse replaced at the same time, but can't be certain. Any advice before I chunk this thing? Thanks in advance for your help.

First thing to check would be the two 30 AMP breakers/fuses to make sure there is power going to the dryer.
